Update on Release Plan

Testing with our beta group continues but we're more confident now that we will have an official release candidate to ship in 60 days. We want to thank all of you for patiently sticking with us. It's been a long journey to get here. To appropriately set expectations about the release date, we're calling it a compatibility release. There are a few new changes and the addition of iCloud synchronization of notebooks but overall, the major focus has been on removing older, un-supported code and updating to run smoothly on macOS Sierra and macOS High Sierra. Mojave compatibility testing is underway now.

The product submission process with Apple will take time and we are planning for it in our release schedule. We'll keep everyone posted as we get closer to a real date that we have confidence in.

After we ship this version, we will begin to turn our attention to updating the look and feel to support display and UI styles that are required to support Retina display resolutions. We will also be improving the continuity of our controls and panels to improve the NoteTaker user experience. Mojave-specific enhancements will come later.

Again, thank you for your continued support. Onward to a shipping release.
