- Do NoteTaker 4 owners need a subscription now?
- No. Verified NoteTaker 4 owners do not need to subscribe in order to retain access to existing features.
- Significant new features to be added in the future may require an active subscription.
- What versions of macOS are supported with this version?
- NoteTaker 5.0 is supported on the following macOS versions:
- macOS Ventura (macOS 13.5) or higher
- Includes macOS Sonoma and Sequoia
- Are there mobile versions of your new software being planned?
- It is being considered, but is not in active development at this time.
- Does your new software support iCloud Drive?
- Yes. You can save and open notebooks on all your Macs using iCloud Drive. Also, you can collaborate with other NoteTaker users by sharing notebooks from your iCloud Drive account.
- Does the new software open notebooks created with previous versions?
- NoteTaker 5 can open notebooks created by any earlier version of AquaMinds NoteTaker. In some cases, you will be prompted by NoteTaker 5 to covert to an updated version of the notebook file format. It is a one-direction operation, so first back-up your older notebooks before converting to NoteTaker 5.
- Can I import content from other applications?
- The Import command from the File menu allows NoteTaker users to import content using several file formats. We recommend trying all of the formats exported by the other application and supported by NoteTaker to see which one works best for your content, as support for formatting and attachments will vary.

- RTFD is a good intermediary format that preserves most formatting and attachments. For example, you can open a Word file in Apple's Pages app, export to RTFD, then import that into NoteTaker.

- How do I report a bug or send feedback about your products?
- Please email any bug report or product feedback to feedback@aquaminds.com and we'll reply within 2 to 3 business days if not sooner. Customer service is provided at no additional charge but only via e-mail. We recommend using QuickTime Player to capture and record your screen when documenting a repeatable crash or unexpected behavior. We can only investigate and fix when a bug is reproducible and verifiable.
- Does the license allow me to use your software on all my Mac systems?
- You are allowed to run our latest software on as many systems as you own that are running a compatible version of Apple's macOS as documented. Family sharing is also supported.
