The latest version of NoteTaker 4 (version 4.0.3) is now live on the App Store and available for download. We sincerely thank everyone for your patience. As noted in our previous blog post, we had an unfortunate problem with the App Store review cycle last Thursday. From the time we pulled the previous version (4.0.2) to submitting the new version on the same day, it took a week to get the new update out since the review cycle re-started all over. Enjoy the latest version and have a great weekend ahead.
I would like to sincerely apologize for the snafu and hiccup with our 4.0.2 update cycle earlier today. It was our mistake but we (and some of you as well) caught the crash on launch issue early that required us to immediately pull the version from the App Store.
We submitted the new version (with the bug fix) earlier this afternoon which will be listed as 4.0.3 and we also requested that Apple's team expedite their review cycle. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and the mistake. We'll be back on the App Store as soon as Apple releases it.
Additionally, many of you early buyers from last week have emailed me via feedback with thoughtful questions and detailed bug reports as well. I can't say enough about how good it feels to have a conversation with all of you that write to us about using our software. We try to be as responsive as possible especially during the early first days of the release.
We're pleased to announce that we have submitted everything to Apple's App Store team for their review of NoteTaker 4 before it's released for download. We did run into some unexpected, last minute bugs that we absolutely had to fix before making a final release decision We sincerely apologize for the long wait since our last blog post. We're very excited to be shipping this month. Hopefully the next blog post we make will be our official shipping announcement unless we're delayed by the review process.
