The company was formed in 2000 to develop and market next generation personal information management software for personal computing devices.  NoteTaker was introduced in 2002 to critical acclaim by Mac users.  In 2006, the company introduced a first of a kind notebook document sharing and collaboration solution called NoteShare which was widely used by 1-to-1 laptop programs for campus and classroom environments.

NoteTaker 4 is a completely refreshed and streamlined update including full support for the latest and upcoming versions of macOS (64-bit); and is fully compatible with documents created by earlier versions of NoteTaker.  It also features for the first time, native support for iCloud Drive sharing thus enabling seamless, multi-device synchronization of notebook documents.
