Annotate a Voice Memo While Recording
Annotate a voice memo while it's being recorded by typing notes that generate link markers.
Each time you create a new entry during the recording, NoteTaker inserts a link marker that
you can later click to jump to that location in the recording.
1
Optionally, use NoteTaker's Entries Preferences to make it so pressing Return creates
a new outline entry, rather than Command-Return. (This makes it easier to enter link
markers during the recording.)
2
Begin recording a voice memo, either directly from the Voice Memo panel, or via the
Create Hyperlink panel.
3
To insert a link marker while recording, press Return (or Command Return) to add a
new outline entry. Type whatever you want in the entry. To insert the next marker,
add another outline entry and type its explanatory text. Do this for any number of
entries, even adding new pages.
WHAT ELSE?
For details on recording a voice memo, see "Record a Voice Memo" on page 94 and "Insert a Voice
Annotation" on page 96.
To make Return create a new outline entry, see "Customize Outline Editing and Links" on page 126.
