Organize To Do Tasks
You can organize tasks on your To Do list both by creating multiple To Do lists in a notebook--
such as one for home and one for work-- and by grouping tasks under logical headings, such as
Shopping, Phone Calls, and so on.
To create another To Do list, choose the Outline > Special Sections > Add To Do Section
command again.
To group tasks under headings within a list, create a parent entry for each heading, and
list tasks as subentries underneath. To have a heading always roll over to the next day's
list (even if its tasks are complete), assign the To Do Group category to it.
WHAT ELSE?
To Do hierarchies automatically roll over only if the parent entry is categorized as To Do Group.
For details on assigning categories or removing them from an entry, see "Categorize Entries for Quick
Retrieval" on page 66.
Attach the CheckTodaysEvents_iCal AppleScript to a link or button in your To Do list (see "Automate
Workflow with AppleScript" on page 52). Assign the To Do Group category to it so it always rolls over to the
next day's list. Then double-click the link or button to insert today's schedule from your iCal calendar.
