Use commands in the Outline menu to expand or collapse all entries on a particular Index page.
To hide the Index, choose the Show Index Section command again. This doesn't remove the index for good--
just choose the command again and it will come back.

To help keep a notebook file from getting too large, NoteTaker automatically compacts its index for you,
which can reduce the notebook's size. You can use Preferences to tell NoteTaker when and how often to
compact, or to turn auto-compacting off and compact indexes yourself, using the Tools > Compact Index
command. See "Set File Management Preferences" on page 122.
If you're sharing a notebook, you can easily see who changed what on particular date by looking on the
Last Changed page in the notebook's index. Then display the Changed By attributes column, as described in
"Show Outline Attributes" on page 26.
