Prioritize and Flag Entries
Manage tasks in your life by assigning a high, medium, or low priority to outline entries. Then,
look entries up by priority in your notebook's Index, highlight them with a yellow marker, or
summarize them on a separate page. You can also flag entries with a check mark and
summarize those, as well.
To assign a priority to an entry, display the page's Priorities column (click the third box
in the Toolbar, or choose the View > Priorities command). Then click in the column
next to the entry, until you get the priority you want.
To flag an entry with a check mark, select it and choose Edit > Flag Entry, or simply
double-click to the left of its control.
WHAT ELSE?
You can also assign or remove priorities by selecting one or more entries and using commands in the Edit >
Prioritize Entry menu.
To sort, summarize, or look up prioritized entries in the Index, see "Sort and Alphabetize" on page 75,
"Highlight and Summarize Outline Entries" on page 76 or "Highlight and Summarize Outline Entries" on page
76.
Prioritizing and flagging entries is useful on your To Do list. See "Keep a To Do List" on page 86.
