Insert Templates in Your Outline

Once you've created a template, you can insert one or more copies of it in your outline, all with
one command. Put all copies on the same page, or tell NoteTaker to create a page for each one.

Open your notebook where you want to begin inserting copies of the template.

Choose Tools > Templates. Then in the Tools panel, select the template, click Insert,
and specify how many copies to insert.

Tips:

If you insert templates frequently, add the Templates list to your toolbar. Then insert a template just by
selecting it from the list. See "Build Your Own Toolbar" on page 132.

Use NoteTaker's Contact template to create a searchable Address Book. See "Build an Address Book
From Scratch" on page 90.

Inserting a template with pictures retains the pictures only if the original picture file stays around in your

Finder (even if you originally attached the picture by Option-dragging). If you delete the original file, or insert
the template from a remote notebook so the original remains on another computer, inserted pictures go
away.
