Highlight Text with Colored Pens
Add color coding, emphasis, or just a bit of decoration to your notebook by highlighting text with
a colored "pen." Use any color you want, by selecting it from the Colors panel.
1
Make sure no outline entry or text is selected on the current notebook page. Then
open the Colors panel (choose Format -> Colors or click the Colors tool).
2
Click the Text Highlight Color box at the bottom of the panel to select the box. Then
select colors from the panel until you get the one you want to use for highlighting.
3
In the outline, hold down the Command key and drag over text you want to highlight.
WHAT ELSE?
To remove highlighting from text, Command-Option-drag over the text. Or select one or more text entries,
and choose Format > Remove All Highlighting.
To change the color of existing highlighting, select another Text Highlight Color and Command-drag over the
text, again.
If you use colors a lot, put the Colors tool in your toolbar. See "Build Your Own Toolbar" on page 132.
