Scan Images Into a Notebook
NoteTaker has a built-in scanning tool that works with scanners supported by Apple's ICA driver
for OS X or that come with their own TWAIN driver (see the next page for which scanners will
work). Scan photographs, paper documents, or anything else you might scan into a regular
image processing application, directly into a NoteTaker notebook.
1
Put what you want to scan on your scanner. Then optionally select the outline entry
you want to insert the image in (otherwise NoteTaker will open a new notebook), and
choose Tools > Scan Image or click the Scan Document tool in the toolbar.
2
In the NoteTaker Image Scan panel, select the type of scanner you're using, a bit
depth (depends on whether you're scanning text, a black-and-white image, or
colored images or text), and a resolution, which determines the quality and size of
the scanned image. Then click Scan.
3
After the image is scanned into the panel, rotate the image if necessary, drag around
the part of it you want to insert, optionally scale and compress the image, then click
Paste to paste it your notebook.
