Add Java Applet Plug-Ins
Add data processing and other powerful tools to your outline by embedding plug-in Java applets.
NoteTaker includes several demo applets, and developers and software designers can create
and add their own applets, as well.
1
Click in the outline entry where you want to insert a plug-in, or select an entry to
insert the plug-in after it.
2
From the Outline > New Plug-In Entry menu, choose the plug-in you want to insert.
Or choose a plug-in from the Plug-Ins list in your toolbar (if it's showing).
WHAT ELSE?
NoteTaker Java applet plug-ins require OS X 10.3 or later, and Java 1.4.2 Update 2 or later. Please run
System Update to make sure your currently installed version of Java is up to date.
Plug-ins store all data you enter in them, and they reopen in the same state as when you last viewed them.
To instead reset a plug-in to its initial state, use the Edit > Reset Applet command.
For information on using our public API to develop your own custom plug-ins for NoteTaker, visit
www.aquaminds.com/developer.jsp, and download our free Software Developer Kit (SDK).
Command-double-click an applet's category icon
(or use the View > Floating command) to display
the applet in a separate, floating window rather than in the outline. When you close the floating window, the
applet reappears in your outline.
