Add Pictures and PDF Images
Display pictures in an outline by dragging any picture or PDF file from the Finder. As long as the
original file stays in the Finder, the picture will appear in the outline. If instead you think the
original file might get deleted from the Finder, or if you might want to email the notebook
somewhere else, Option-drag the picture to attach a copy that resides within the notebook. This
makes the notebook file bigger, but the picture sticks with it no matter what.
To display a picture in an outline entry by linking to the picture file in the Finder, drag
a picture or PDF file from the Finder to the entry. To instead copy the picture into the
notebook, Option-drag from the Finder.
To add one or more pictures so each displays on a new page, drag (or Option-drag)
them to the Contents page or a section listing.
To scale a picture in an outline, Control-click it and choose a percentage from the Scale
Image menu.
Control-clicking anywhere in an
image opens a menu where you can
scale the image to any size
Just drag (or Option-drag) a picture
file from the Finder--into an existing
entry, or NoteTaker will create a new
one
Hold down the Option key over the
picture to see a reminder of where its
document is stored in the Finder
