What if an application doesn't have a Services menu?
Install our Contextual Menu Plug-in (see "Install NoteTaker" on page 11). After that, Control-click what
you're clipping and choose the NoteTaker service from the pop-up menu. (This is the only way to use
services from some Microsoft applications).
Use the Paste Selection To menu in the Dock (as shown above).
To remove a clipping service, choose Tools > NoteTaker Services > Remove Services, and in the panel that
opens, select the service you want to remove and click Remove.
To clip to the same location several times in a row, use the Clip to previous location command.
To label or annotate clippings, see "Customize Clipping Services" on page 123.
Assign keyboard shortcuts to services you use frequently. See "Define Keyboard Shortcuts" on page 134.
Each clipping is added
as an entry on the page
(or as a new page, if
you clip to a section)
It's marked by a pair
of scissors
If an application
doesn't use Services,
paste a selection
from it by Control-
clicking NoteTaker in
the Dock, and
choosing a clipping
service from the
Paste Selection To
menu
