Clip Content from Other Applications
Clip articles, research, and other text directly into a notebook while browsing the Internet, your
email, or a document, by using an application's Services menu. Select a page to clip to just this
once, or set up a clipping service for a section or page you clip to frequently. It's more
convenient then copying and pasting, and NoteTaker doesn't even have to be running.
1
From any application that uses services, select what you want to clip.
2
Open the application's Services menu and choose NoteTaker > Clip to notebook. In
the panel that opens, select a notebook section or page to clip to, and click Open to
paste your selection--either as an entry at the end of the page, or on a new page at
the end of the section.
3
If you clip to the same page or section frequently, create a clipping service for it: Go
to the page or section and choose the Tools > NoteTaker Services > Create Clipping
Service for
"Page/Section Name"
command.
Choose Clip to
notebook from the
application's Service's
menu to open a panel
for selecting any page
to clip to
If you clip to a page
frequently, create a
clipping service for it, and
it appears in the
application's Services
menu, too
Clip relevant information
