Insert Pages from Other Notebooks
It's easy to assemble one notebook from pieces of another by using the Page Folio tool. This
copies whole sections or pages to the end of the new notebook or section within it. You can then
reorder the copied pages however you want.
1
Open the section or page you want to add to another notebook.
2
Open the destination notebook. If you're adding a single page, go to the page you want
to insert it after. If you're adding a section it doesn't matter what page you're on.
3
Drag the Page Folio tool from the original notebook to the destination notebook.
WHAT ELSE?
You can also merge two notebooks, copying one notebook's contents to another, using the File > Import
command (see "File Menu" on page 144). Or, Command-drag a page or section from the Drawer to import
just that page or section.
Add folios to the desktop, save them in the Finder, or send them in email. See "Excerpt a Folio" on page 112
and "Email an Outline, Folio, or Notebook" on page 113.
If you're assembling pages from different people's notebooks, see who supplied which page by displaying
the Creator attribute. See "Show Outline Attributes" on page 26.
