Create Desktop Shortcuts
Quickly get to any page, notebook, or library by placing a Page Mark to it on your desktop or in
the Dock. Double-clicking the Page Mark goes directly to that page, or opens the notebook or
library folder, starting NoteTaker if necessary.
To create a Page Mark, go to the page or section listing you want to mark. Then drag
the Page Mark tool from the toolbar to the desktop or Dock. Or drag a page, section,
notebook, or entire library from the Drawer.
WHAT ELSE?
To get rid of a desktop Page Mark you're not using anymore, just drag it to the Trash. Don't worry, this doesn't
delete the actual page, notebook, or library.
Power Tips:
Have a favorite page or section open automatically at login, first by placing a Page Mark to it on the
desktop. Then go to Apple's System Preferences and add the Page Mark to Login Items (just drag it into
the Login Items panel).
Page marking a To Do section creates a "smart" link that always opens to the current day's list. See "Keep
a To Do List" on page 86
.
Dragging a page from the Drawer to any other notebook page inserts a Page Mark link.
