Browse Libraries of Notebooks
You can browse all your notebooks at once, opening any notebook to any page, all from a
notebook's Drawer. Just add the folders containing your notebooks to the Drawer's Libraries
view. Organize work projects in one library and home projects in another, then quickly
reference a phone number here, a Web address there, and so on. There's even a command for
opening all notebooks in a library at once, say to begin working on a particular project, and a
command for closing them all w hen you're done
1
In the Finder, set up any folder to be a library. Create a new folder or use an existing
one. Name it however you want. Fill the folder with the notebook files you want to be
in the library. Move existing notebooks into the folder, save new ones to it, or add
notebooks later.
2
Choose the Tools > Notebook Drawer > Add Libraries command, select the folder in
the Open panel, and click Open.
3
Open any notebook's Drawer (click the Notebook Drawer tool in the toolbar, or
choose Tools > Notebook Drawer > Open Drawer), and browse your new library in
the Libraries view. Or open all notebooks in a library at once using the File > Open
Library command. Close them all when you're done using File > Close All.
