Remove from Entry Removes any background
color that was applied specifically to the
currently selected outline entry(s). See "Design
the Page" on page 60.
Page Default Applies the default page
background color defined in NoteTaker's Format
preferences to the current page. Or for a
notebook cover, it applies the default cover color
defined in Format preferences.
Set All Pages Applies the current page color to
all pages in the notebook.
Cover Title Displays the following commands for
positioning and designing the text title on the current
notebook cover. Also see "Design the Cover" on
page 64:
Top, High, Mid-High, Center, Mid-Low, Low,
Bottom Positions the cover title on the current
notebook cover.
Default Location Applies the default cover-title
position defined in NoteTaker's Format
preferences to the current notebook cover.
None Hides the text title from the current
notebook's cover.
Tools Menu
Categories Opens the Tools panel to the
Categories tab where you can create, change, and
delete category definitions, and apply them to
individual outline entries. See "Categorize Entries
for Quick Retrieval" on page 66, and "
Create Your
Own Categories" on page 67. (Shi
ft-Cmd-L)
Templates Opens the Tools panel to the Templates
tab where you can create, change, or delete
templates, and insert them in your notebook. See
"Using Categories & Templates" on page 65.
(Shift-Cmd-T)
Sort Opens the Tools panel to the Sort tab, where
you can sort outline entries alphabetically,
chronologically, by priority, or by category label.
Plus, you can alphabetize sections in the Contents,
or pages in a section listing. See "Sort and
Alphabetize" on page 75.
(Shift-Cmd-R)
Date Opens the Tools panel to the Date tab where
you can change the date shown for when an entry,
page, or section was created or changed. Select
one or more entries on the current notebook page
whose date you want to change, open Date Tools,
and set a new date.
Spelling. Opens the standard Spelling panel for
finding and correcting spelling errors and typos. You
can check spelling throughout the entire notebook,
or only within the current section or page--choose
a scope at the bottom of the panel. For other handy
spell-checking commands, see the Spelling
command in the "Edit Menu" on page 146. (Cmd-:)
Word Count Opens a panel that tells you how many
outline entries, paragraphs, words, and characters
are in the current notebook, section, page, or
selection.
Notebook Drawer Displays the following
commands for using a notebook's Drawer and
browsing libraries of notebooks. Also see "Navigate
Contents & History from the Drawer" on page 28
and "Browse Libraries of Notebooks" on page 30.
Open Drawer Opens or closes the current
notebook's Drawer. (Shift-Cmd-D)
Add Libraries Opens a panel where you can
select a folder to display in the Libraries view of
the Drawer. Any NoteTaker files in the folder will
be available for browsing in the Drawer.
Remove Library Removes the currently
selected library in the Libraries view of the
Drawer, from the Drawer.
Record Voice Memo Opens the NoteTaker Voice
Memo panel for recording voice memos and
inserting them in a notebook. See "Voice Memos" on
page 93.
(Option-Cmd-R)
Scan Image Opens a panel for scanning an image
from any scanner supported by NoteTaker, directly
into a notebook. See "Scan Images Into a Notebook"
on page 54.
Insert Contact Opens a panel for inserting one or
more contacts from your Apple Address Book into
the current notebook. See "Import Your Apple
Address Book" on page 89.
Speak Selection Begins speaking the current
outline page, section listing, or Contents--or the
current selection, if anything is selected.

Slide Show Displays the following commands for
displaying notebook content in a full-screen slide
show. Also see "Give a Slide Show Presentation" on
page 114:
Show Notebook Shows the current notebook
as a slide show, using appearance and slide-
advance options selected in the Slide Show
Settings panel. This command displays a slide
for each notebook page. (Cmd-7)
Show Page Shows the current page as a slide
show, displaying a slide for each top-level entry.
