Self-Contained - All linked attachments and pictures
become copied attachments, and therefore reside
within the notebook file. This is handy for saving a
backup copy of a notebook somewhere other than
in the current file system.
Save All Saves any outstanding changes in all open
notebooks, even hidden ones.
Revert Undoes any unsaved changes in the current
notebook, reverting it to the state it was in when it
was last saved.
Import Opens a panel for importing text from other
applications, and inserting it in the current outline,
as described in "Import Text from Other
Applications" on page 37. Y
ou can import the
following file

HTML: (.html)
OPML: (.opml)
XML files: (.xml)

You can also import another notebook to merge it
with the current notebook, inserting it at the end of
the notebook (if you're on the Contents page), or as
new sections before the current section (if you're on
any other page). To import only a page or section,
Command-drag it from the Drawer.
For details about importing address book content,
see "Import Your Apple Address Book" on page 89.
Export Opens a panel for exporting the current
page in any of several common file formats, allowing
notebook data to be easily opened and used in other
applications. Export supports the following file
formats:
Plain text: (.txt)
Rich Text Format (.rtf)
Tab-delimited: (.tab)
Comma-delimited: (.csv)
Mail Merge
vCards--Apple's address book format (.vcf
OPML: (.xml)
Doc (MS Word) (.doc)--OS X version 10.3, only)
RTFD (Rich Text plus attachments): (.rtf)
When exporting using the Doc (MS Word) format,
you can optionally select the "MS Word outline tags
option in the Export Entries panel to view the
exported text as an outline, in Word's outline view.
Export NTML Displays commands for exporting
the current notebook, section, page, or selection as
Note-Taking Markup Language (NTML)-- a non-
proprietary XML-based file format that allows
NoteTaker data to be ported to and programmed in
a variety of XML formats, including Apple's Keynote
presentation format (APML). See also "Export Note-
Taking Markup Language" on page 163.
Web Notebook Opens the following commands for
creating and updating Web notebooks (for details,
see "Publish a Web Notebook On the Internet" on
page 116 and "Publish a W
eb Notebook Locally" on
page 117):
Create Automatically builds fully operational
Web pages from the current notebook.
Update Updates an existing Web notebook with
any changes that have been made to the
notebook the Web notebook was created from.
To update a Web notebook, open the source
notebook, make your changes, and choose this
command.
Update Current Page Updates an existing Web
notebook with any changes that have been made
to an individual page or section in the notebook
the Web notebook was created from. To update
just a page of a Web notebook, open the source
notebook, go to the page you want to update
and make your changes, then choose this
command. To update an entire section, go to the
section listing and choose this command.
Email Displays commands for emailing the current
notebook, section, or page as a file attachment, or
inserting text from an outline directly in an email
message. Using these commands to email a
notebook or page folio automatically copies any
linked documents and pictures into the file
attachment you mail, so recipients who aren't on
your local network can still see them. Using the
Notebook command to email a notebook also
compresses the notebook, tarring and zipping it,
which often makes it smaller than the original
notebook. Also see "Email an Outline, Folio, or
Notebook" on page 113.
Password Opens a panel for password protecting a
notebook. See "Password Protect a Notebook" on
page 120.
Page Setup Opens a standard Page Setup panel
for setting basic print and page formatting options.
(Shift-Cmd-P)
Print Opens a Print panel for selecting a printer and
range of pages to print, setting NoteTaker-specific
options, viewing a preview of the printed page, or
saving the notebook as a PDF file. See "Print
Notebook Pages" on page 119 and "Save a PDF
File" on page 118. (Cmd-P)
