Define Keyboard Shortcuts
Now more NoteTaker commands than ever have shortcuts for choosing the command by typing.
If you use a particular command frequently that either doesn't have a keyboard shortcut, or has
one that's hard to type, give it the shortcut you want using NoteTaker's ShortCuts Preferences.
1
In the ShortCuts preferences, find the command whose keyboard shortcut you want
to change, double-click in the Key Equivalent column, and enter the new sequence--
just exactly the way you want to type it when you choose the command.
2
Restart NoteTaker to put the new shortcut into effect.
WHAT ELSE?
For help interpreting keyboard shortcuts (if you're not familiar with the symbol shown in the menu):
Look up an individual NoteTaker command in "Menus and Commands" on page 144.
Find out which keys each symbol represents by looking up "keyboard shortcuts" in the Finder's Help.
Pressing this key combination (here,
Control-Option-G) chooses the
command
Double-click a shortcut to change it
Type a space to remove the
shortcut, or type a new command
sequence to change it. If a
sequence is in use, NoteTaker asks
if you want to use it here, instead
Reverts all NoteTaker commands
to their original shortcuts
Reverts only the selected
command to its original shortcut
Add shortcuts for NoteTaker
services that appear in other
applications. Use only the
Command and/or Shift keys, and
don't choose a combination already
used by another application
