Tailor Your To Do Lists
Use Preferences to visually cross out completed tasks in all your notebooks' To Do sections, to
tidy up notebooks by automatically deleting old To Do pages, and to choose whether to sort tasks
on new To Do pages by priority.
If you turn on the option to automatically delete old To Do pages, any notebook you
subsequently open will have its old To Do pages deleted permanently, according to the criteria
you specify. They can't be retrieved. Before turning on this option, you might want to make
backup copies of any To Do lists you want to archive.
WHAT ELSE?
For details on To Do lists, see "Keep a To Do List" on page 86 and "Organize To Do Tasks" on page 88.
You can also cross out To Do tasks by applying the Text Strikethrough style in the Font panel (OS X version
10.3 or later).
Check this option in Format
Preferences...
And type a number of days to
permanently delete all To Do
pages that are any older.
Be careful: This applies
automatically to any notebook
you subsequently open or
create, and it can't be undone!
Check this option in Entries
Preferences...
And completed To Do tasks in
all your notebooks' To Do
sections are crossed out, as
well as checked off (OS X
10.3 or later)
