What Is an Outline?
At the heart of a NoteTaker notebook is an
outline
--a hierarchical list of entries containing text,
pictures, links, or whatever, that can be grouped within other entries or subentries, down to as
many levels as you want. Outlines are perfect for organizing practically anything in your life,
including topics you plan to cover in a work or school report, favorite Web links, information for
planning a trip, or a major work project.
WHAT ELSE?
You don't have to make a hierarchical outline to use NoteTaker. You can also just type lists or documents.
See "Add Outline Entries to a Page" on page 23 to get started.
A page contains an outline
with entries and indented
subentries, down to any
number of additional levels
A notebook is organized in
sections that contain pages
Clicking a control expands or
collapses an entry, showing or
hiding its subentries
