Browse the Web in a Notebook
Browse the Web in your notebook to build notebooks out of live, interactive Web pages, and
easily copy notes directly from the Internet. Any outline entry can be a full-fledged Web browser
where you can go to any URL, click links, watch movies, run interactive Java applets, display
RSS feeds, submit forms--just like in any other browser. Also, from within an outline you can
manage live Web content much like other notebook content. Drag pieces of Web pages to other
outline entries or notebooks. Make a PDF of any Web page. Email Web text using the Email Page
Text tool. Even include live, browsable Web pages in a NoteTaker slide show or Web notebook.
1
Choose Outline > New Web Entry to insert a new entry that has a Web link @ icon and
embedded Web browser. Then type the URL you want to visit in the browser's
address field. You can also double-click an existing Web link's @ icon to display the
Web page in an embedded browser.
2
Drag a text selection, picture, or link directly from the Web page to another outline
entry (in the same notebook or another one) to copy it to that entry.
